I get my strength from cold places

One is only as weak as they allow themselves to be, one is only as strong as they force themselves to be
But from what I can see
One can't become strong just by trying to act strong
One can only heat steel for so long
After a while it will simply melt
To be strong, like steel, one must be constantly be dealt alternating and changing amounts of heat in the fire of. Love and positive thoughts
then quenched and hardened in the cold icy water of pain and loss
The world's strongest people are the ones who face the average highs of life and then face the worst possible lows and manage to survive... for those who can survive this several times each time being reshaped and folded over themselves again and again till all weakness has been forced out through the constant hammering of life's daily struggles and then cooled in icy rivers of pain and create a rough template to be honed and polished into the best they can be.
In this way the ancient Japanese perfected their most famous and respected weapon, the katana or samurai sword. A strong person is like a katana: they must endure extreme conditions and the right amount of abuse to become something wonderful that can be your best friend or your worst enemy depending on the amount of respect given to it
It will be strong whether treated with great respect or none at all but as with any blade, the user controls what is cut, the blade does as it is content to do and cuts whatever gets on the wrong side of its edge. A blade not respected will surely cut something the user was not intending to cut but will cut the same either way. Just as a strong blade commands respect so too does a strong individual... if you don't respect a strong individual you are bound to get hurt however like a blade in the hands of a well trained samurai, when treated with respect a strong person can achieve great things alongside you.
