Sunlight
A ray of sunlight shines through the leaves of the tree,
Creating a beautiful combination of colors of bright brown, yellow and green.
When the slight sunlight hits my face,
do I shine or become as beautifully bright as the leaves?
Does the light brings a brightness to my face that my dull heart can't?
The warmth of the slight touch of the sunlight reminds me of your love.
A love that was warmth as well as strong, glowing and untouchable.
Just like the sunlight eventually vanishes, you did too.
When you left you took away the light and warmth of my life.
Juts like plants need the Sun to survive
I needed you to live.
I live now in the darkness,
I live now in the cold.
Only God knows that now I'm lost
