Paranoid
bi-polar mania eclipsed
the sun I felt shining
a blood moon shone brighter
feeling my private life here
had been compromised
by prying eyes
I retreated paranoia getting hold
grabbing me by the throat
causing my heart to pound
my stomach to convulse
I wanted to say a public goodbye
but the beast that had me in it's stranglehold
said no the watchers will be printing your private scribes
then showing them to loved ones
I couldn't have this so I faded quietly in to the mist
leaving my heart heavy for the one's I've come to cherish
I just wanted to say I love you all
for being my unconditional family

I have actually been there many times, felt the same way and shut it all down! I can relate and I'm not bipolar..my brain injury causes severe imbalance and impulse control and it isn't easy to live with. Without cannabis, I'd still be locked up-maybe for life..or dead. Anyway, this is powerful with excellent insight and self awareness. Nice ink
