Sweet Adoration
Spilled honey everywhere
The pot’s boiling over and
I am still hungry
Time is slowly passing away
The dawn will be waking soon
Sunshine coming through
Those doors and broken windows
Screaming for attention
The moon howls one last time
I rush in eagerness to feast
The container fills
My body hurts and
My head swims with notions
Of youth and beauty long
Since dead and forgotten
In those times of plenty
What I wouldn’t give for
That sweet adoration
Pumping through my veins
Building me up
To conquer it all
Once again

Glory days gone by Belle. It's sad I know but we all reminisce once in awhile. Thanks for reading.

Glory last for as long as you like if you share yourself with the one who will remind you how to go back ♥ People let go and think they are meant to but its the eyes of the beholder that tells you it is over ♥ I say its just started everyday you wake up is day for a new experiance ♥ don't let go of the adventure let go of the the strings that hold you back from a world of wonder ♥

Ahhh, xmar82, luv :-* ~
There is a tender poignance here, an aching sweetness... You've deftly captured this fleeting note and this sensation of instants of bliss...
I say this: revel in it all, luv. For without the one: the aching, tired, soreness you do not fully appreciate the euphoria of the other, ne c'est pas? How can we know how truly wondrous without that agony in contrast?
I am not advocating seeking out agony, but life has its share unsolicited, eh?
I've said too much, gone on and on. I will cease now, luv. :-*

I was reminiscing of the past. You are right. There must be pain to know true pleasure. Thank you Savaja.
Re: Sweet Adoration
My first thoughts were of Pooh Bear and how he'd love to be there with all that spilled honey...:) It was a very humbling read, and much enjoyed.
