Pause With Me
Grasp my hand in yours
And pause with me this morning
Watch the sun poke its head over the trees
Hear the birds' trilling symphony
Note the way the dew sparkles in the sunshine
On the silky abode of a garden spider
Watch feathery dandelion seeds disperse in the wind
Twirl a fragrant wildflower between your fingers
Ignore the busy-ness elsewhere
Just walk with me for today
Let me show you every small beauty
And chase the world away

I'm sure you can do it... Go out in the woods with a notebook and sit somewhere just listening and watching.. Its quite relaxing even if poetic words don't come to you:)
