Half-Dead, Fully Awake
Its 2:21 A.M.,
and I lay awake,
in my bed,
alone.
I can't stand the emptiness,
that lays beside me,
I wish you would take it's place.
I close my eyes,
and start dying,
because i'm not next to you,
and your voice,
rings through my head.
You are the angel,
in the center of my torment,
you are the safe place,
in the blizzard of my heart.
My pulse starts up,
the closer I get to you.
I lust for your love,
and I lay awake,
knowing,
that i'm incomplete,
without you...
and I lay awake,
in my bed,
alone.
I can't stand the emptiness,
that lays beside me,
I wish you would take it's place.
I close my eyes,
and start dying,
because i'm not next to you,
and your voice,
rings through my head.
You are the angel,
in the center of my torment,
you are the safe place,
in the blizzard of my heart.
My pulse starts up,
the closer I get to you.
I lust for your love,
and I lay awake,
knowing,
that i'm incomplete,
without you...
