the stellar
starlight sinks
beneath
its own
polished beams
reflecting-reflections
reflective of
each seamless
bounce of
curved light

that
same light
touching what
used to be
the dull
always-ever
green
of twilight's
blackened blades of grass
the slender ones
standing at attention
awaiting the
dawn

that
same dawn
again
forward looking
regret -less
its quest
looking to
touch what's dew
fulfilling a
promise made
until the
fade
is
all again

gone.
