I want to play

I want to play:
Now it’s time to play, I am ready to be a kid today, I want to ride bikes with my daughter and enjoy
The wooded paths, we will take a break at the playground and we will swing and slide, we will face the
Day like nothing matters, we will meet strangers and just talk for a while
I don’t want to ever grow old; I don’t think I will, not with days like this when the sun is bright
And shinning, and the weather is hot and the shade of the trees are calling me
The taste for laughter fills my mouth, and the need for adventure runs in my veins, and my daughter
Loves to play with me, and she accepts me in my crazy ways her friends think I am fun, well so do the
Friends of my sons, I mean really why be serious? You can do that on another day not now, I want to
Play and ride bikes on the wooded path, and take a break at the playground, and swing and slide
Meet a stranger and make a new friend for life, talk about nothing important and laugh a while
