The waves, the sand, the azure sea
Memories of what was meant to be
Black hair, brown eyes, velvet lips,
Dancing feet, swaying hips.
Olive skin,  sensuous smile
Reflecting for awhile
Remembering yesteryear
I shed a quiet tear.

The water, the ebb and flo
Seems so long ago
The blue eyed girl with long blond hair
Many memories to share

Tender hands caress the spine,
Sensuous moments, we entwine.
Passionate kisses, sweet embrace,
Slow meandering, slow pace.
Quicker, quicker, then gentle sigh
Soaring, soaring high

The soft sand beneath my feet,
Wanting, longing, incomplete
Delving, searching deep
Heart leap
Wonder what may have been
What life remained unseen
Moon shimmers across the bay
Only memories today.
