Winter

So frost covers your solid eyes.
The curtains tell me its not even winter outside.
If you tell me one more lie,
Then trusting you again would be a waste of time.
You bark, you bark with willow trees and weary rhymes.
And dreary lines seem to cover up your ankles.

Oh, the place is below zero from head to toe.
You're reaching for your winter coat.
The place is below zero from head to toe.
I can't help but let it go.
I can't help but ignore the snow.

So daisies try to fill up our hearts.
But we're lame and send them off on cable cars.
If we learn to speak,
I won't plead on my knees.
Well, whats a stoner to do when Mary Jane's gone and leaves winter behind?
Beats me, but we'd only be left with thoughts of suicide.

Oh, the place is below zero from head to toe.
You're reaching for your winter coat.
The place is below zero from head to toe.
I can't help but let it go.
I can't help but ignore the snow.

Watch out, your noses are red, they might fall off.
And watch out, I need to make a call.
Dear father, you were the one who started the cold,
Acting so careless towards an eleven year old.
My lungs are fire in a world of frost,
Left with eyes of forget-me-nots.

Oh, the place is below zero from head to toe.
You're reaching for your winter coat.
The place is below zero from head to toe.
I can't help but let it go.
I can't help but ignore the snow.
