Rays of light have started to crack
your foggy veneer,
They light up the gold in my hair
that you've unpinned and let
fall upon my shoulders.

Trepidation moves your fingers gently
over my skin, finding the places
that you seek forgiveness,
It was only sadness you
had to recover my shadow from.

Salaciously we find each other
Noses touching, inhaling
the sharp breaths that escape
open wet mouths,
Pulses quicken, a welcomed applause...

Wrapped up in everything 'you'
Daylight cannot part our bodies
Nor would I be inclined...
