ash
i'm choking on this secondhand smoke,
it billows off of you in disgusting clouds,
your personality is cancerous, killing me, slowly,
people offer me chemotherapy, thinking such a
simple method will make you hide away
and leave me alone, ha, some people are more foolish than I am,
like a bee I was sedated, until I woke and realized the truth:
I am a person, my own person
but to escape this far in would be suicide,
and it will be, for I am stuck in the smoke with no way out,
too many seconds
too many days
too many years
I am but
the ash
on the tip
of your cigarette
it billows off of you in disgusting clouds,
your personality is cancerous, killing me, slowly,
people offer me chemotherapy, thinking such a
simple method will make you hide away
and leave me alone, ha, some people are more foolish than I am,
like a bee I was sedated, until I woke and realized the truth:
I am a person, my own person
but to escape this far in would be suicide,
and it will be, for I am stuck in the smoke with no way out,
too many seconds
too many days
too many years
I am but
the ash
on the tip
of your cigarette
