Loving, a bouquet

To Love and to give
to share and to hold
to keep to declare
passion folded fine
in white sheets

love, a sacrifice
of doubting thoughts
shrouded in faith
of shortcomings
tied down tightly

no destructing vibes
no whispers of discontent
no looks of ire
never disappoint
never look away in pain

these bouquet of Love
stay fresh with water
from the spout of vow
with dusting from brushes
of faith and fidelity

should these be upheld
love in a bouquet
will glitter as fresh
as the kiss at the altar
and tight as hands of first night

but if the golden circle
that binds do break
the bouquet of love
will wither away
dead stalks on dead hopes

dew drops from aching hearts
will fall like acid
on small, hurting troubled souls
fruit of the union
children of the Love.
