 them proclivities...an interpretation
even the preamble is a gamble...now look “hear”
there’s safety in numbers
especially the ones you don’t play

the ones given that second, third thought...then
have ‘em shuffle away
the lucky one never knowing the consequence
of how safe they were that day
the chances not taken on what’s mistaken
that pain not having to pay

anyway...it’s
how far one will go, how
far one will climb

to the clinic, to be a cynic or...neither with their time

playing triple-X, their mind imagining for them it’s the way to go
perhaps going farther than far
like a possessed pornstarr
where pleasure it’ll turn into foe

who knows - who’s to say - doing the deed that way
whether loud & proud by yourself...or consensually as a pair
wherein that scrotum itch can be a bitch
one wishing it wasn’t there

even some of us in the crowd doing it damn near everywhere
mistakes made, don’t always fade
despite the amount of flair

sure sticks & stones can break one’s bones
we already know that’s true
what words can do, how they’ll mess with you
just blues of a different hue

but the slickest-line or the best lap-grind
begins with a lust craved view
willing or not to do what’s hot

to thine own'd self  
be true.
