Lillies

Lillies bloom in the morning. Four, a bundle.
Their feet soaked in evening rain. Thirsty, drenched.
Their tongues the colour of her sunburnt toes. Kissed, sunned.
Stalks rise from dim to splendor. Laugh, a tumble.
