Heavy Air

Summer
Humid, cloudy, thick moody air
Cool and damp, rain pending
But most likely not happening

I like it this way
Windows open, ceiling fans on high
Erotic spacial aura surrounds me
Writing love poems, sipping iced tea

On the couch with my tablet
Dog on the floor next to me
Quiet in the city
It's pretty perfect, this moment with me
