the eternal road

the path i travel is a path i will never know
I wander around lost with nothing to show
when will i reach the right destination
how will i ever know the true sensation
I bleed to know why the world treats me so
what is this world i live in and when will it let go

I run along the beaten road
wondering when the truth will unfold
there is no turns to be seen
I wander through this life unseen
the path of life has come to betray me
the journey is about to be set free

the road comes to a sudden end
I look around and there is no bend
I stand there looking around
finding a way to become unbound
I slip the blade slowly across my wrist
the blood quickly fills my fist
I start weakening and drop to my knees
I look to the ground at the blood colored streams

I take one short breath and a tear falls from my eye
I begin to realize the road is about to die
my eyes draw shut as I become cold
I lay there dying apun the road

I look for the light yet there is none
I will stay here eternaly till this world is done
my body begins to decompose
till the next journey comes
along this eternaly dark road
