After We Pray
A lot of us pray day by day
Pleading to be blessed of knowledge
Yet defiling our cleansed hearts immediately
murm'ring "D is the answer to three"
A lot of us pray day by day
Yearning for sweet succulent forgiveness
Yet defiling our cleansed hearts again
sinning just after uttering "Amen"
A lot of us pray day by day
Hoping the world be filled with harmony
Yet defiling our hearts already
We fill the world with hopeless tragedy.
