Maya, Now Truly...Uncaged

...And so it goes,
another has gone
far, far away...
into the way beyond

Maya-Angel-You
a 'painter' of verse
I marvel when I think of you

Poet exemplar you are
now at rest amongst the stars
may God find, and hold you
in peaceful slumber's view

Now and evermore,
that UN- 'Caged Bird'
flying free, and proud

Peace eternally unto you
blessed are we all for your
poetic voice amongst the
planet's populous crowd...
