They walk with eyes,
not looking out
but only seeing in.
They listen with no ears
sound filling their heads,
but they can't hear.

The inward ones
always looking into themselves,
earplugs and wires filling their holes,
say "Hi" and they walk right by.

Earplugs/phones will effect your ear drum, in the long run.

A generation withdrawn into the 'safety'(?) of one's own (selfish) existence....so easy to turn on...and tune out.
(it's sad that --most times--(my) earbuds, and headphones, have become more as appendages, than status symbols! :/ )
