I'm Laughing my brains out

A bit too depressing for my tastes.

This wasn't meant for tastes and flavours. This thing is just for show or maybe or maybe less, but not something thats meant to be tasted and mused over like mulled wine.

I liked it.

Then either somethings wrong with you, or somethings wrong with everything. You can pick which one it is.

I don't understand why anyone would think this poem is depressing. Tony Porto must live in a world of eternal sunshine, daffodils, butterflies and free reach arounds for the poor.
I like how this poem eschews conventional narrative to simply convey manic ebullience and then the despair it secretly conceals.

I thought to myself; hang the style and just write the words, and so this was born. From a mad womb it gushed forth. I am glad some people finf it depressing, it shows that its right and my expectations were correct.
