Hardened

No matter how hard I try
It dosent matter what I say or how it comes out
I seem to get burned by my actions
Are far too raw, reality too brutal to bare, for some
As hard as I try to absorb the impact
To ease someone elses pain from the cross fire of certain death that im undergoing
Finding myself alone in the world
Administering my own lacerations upon my heart
Gauze soaked in blood
Wounds so deep, rivers streaming rapidly
I'm beginning to see slow
Feeling the full capacity
There isn't any take backs in life
All that is said and done under the sun, etched in stone
Like Rameses `` So let it be written, so let it be done"
This poetic pharaoh's heart has been harden
Eight more plagues before I set thy soul free into the wilderness
