I'm Hoping

Tommie, this is truly a poignant, soul-felt peace. She'll hear you, I know she will. Thank you so much for sharing this piece of your heart.

My heart is breaking. I spent the day with her in ICU. But I was very surprised to find her awake.  Although she had several tubes in her she new I was there, she looked at me, I told her I loved her, she mouthed it back and we both cried. Her tubes were removed at 11:30am and I said my last goodbye to her at 1pm. She wasn't feeling any pain. Now I'm just waiting for that very difficult phone call to say she's gone. Thank you for reading this GW I appreciate it. ;)

What a deeply beautiful experience. Out of the many "I love you's" said these are the most sincere and eternal in nature, You have seen her off on a glorious journey absent of pain.

My dear friend passed away yesterday morning. I'm very thankful I got to say goodbye to her. It's going to be tough but I'll never forget her.
