Pitted against
My mortality
I’m counting down
My reality
Is coming undone
To rise again

Trashing, casting
Spells with science
Passing, massing
Becoming God
Sync with machines
Inside the portals
Steel skeleton
To be immortal
With godlike powers
To rise again
From a martyr’s crucifix

Personified matrix
The matrix
Digital
Immortal
Crucify
The new god
Silent savior
Rising, biding
Cybernetic
Trying, blinding
All the cattle
