Can You See Me Daddy?

Do you remember the swings Daddy?
Do you remember swinging me on them?
Swinging next to me on them?
And teaching me to pump my legs.
Don't swing me to high Daddy!
Do you remember Daddy?
Cause I do.
Riding my bike.
Going on the swing.
Playing with Pumpkin in the park.
I remember Daddy and I miss you so much.
Now I'm in the park again, but I'm too big for the slide now.
I'm twenty years old Daddy.
But here I am, back at the park again.
Missing you and wish you could be here.
For me and for my son.
He loves the swings too Daddy.
He loves the swings, just like you and I, Daddy.
I wish you could be here with us and see how high he likes to swing.
Alot higher than me, that's for sure.
But I had fun Daddy.
And Gaige was giggling and laughing.
One day I'll be swinging next to him and teaching him to pump his legs too.
Just you taught me Daddy, all those years ago.
Do you remember Daddy?
Cause I sure do.
I remember the good times.
The very happy, good times.
And one-on-one times where it was just Daddy and Annie.
Just me and you.
But not you're gone.
And here I am, with my own child.
And we're swinging high Daddy.
I can swing high Daddy.
Not as high as I probably could if you pushed me.
But still high enough that I feel like I can touch the sky.
Hopefully you're looking down Daddy from Heaven or where ever you may be.
And I hope you see your grandson, Gaige.
And Daddy?
I hope you see me.
