Image for the poem Fallen Angel

Fallen Angel

My darkness consumes all light
These shadows you see are born of fire
The blaze itself is burning bright
In the sky you wreak of my desire
Cherish now your feathered wings
Soon they will be but mere dreams
I am the anti-everything
I want to hear you scream

Would you bring your halo down for me?
Would you let me clip your wings?
Come walk upon the ground with me
A fallen angel you shall be
Turn your back to the crown of gold
And it will lose its strangle hold
Come with me into the cold
And burn this halo to warm your soul

I can show you the light of darkness
And bring to you the heat of frost
All you need to be is heartless
And to the clouds forever lost
Together we will curse the sky
Burning churches you and I
Wipe the Virgins bloody eyes
And whisper sweetly pretty lies
