The Devil goes to Church

Southern Baptist preacher in full flow
Shouts about the fires of hell below
There comes a sudden lightening flash
Followed by a deafening crash
There stands the devil in a cloak
Of stinking, acrid, brimstone smoke

The faithful flock runs screaming out
The devil laughs and looks about
There at the back sits old John Draper
Picking horses from his racing paper
“Hey I'm the devil can’t you see?
You should be a-feared of me”

John looks up in mild surprise
A mischievous twinkle in his eyes
"Why should I be scared of you
Or the kind of crap you get up to?
Of you my friend I have no fears
I've been married to your sister forty years"
