Most people will recall the Waco tragedy
David Koresh and his Branch Davidians against the US Government
I wrote the following on April 11, 1993
Eight days prior to the final  seige that claimed seventy-six lives

Four ATF agents and six Branch Davidians
have lost their lives
This is tragic, there is no doubt
But the real tragedy is found in this
       
Nearly one hundred people have chosen
to follow this man, David Koresh
He claims to be the Christ, the Messiah
among other things which boggle the mind

How can all these people be so naive, blind or dumb
Do they not see what is so obviously wrong
Can they not recognize the total farce
that comprises all things David Koresh

If given a chance to speak with them
I would simply offer this
'You follow a man who claims to be Christ
This same man wears bifocals
He is Christ, yet incapable of healing his own sight'

'Your Messiah can not fix his own damn eyes
Wake up people
Wake up, and run
Run away from here at top speed'
