Transitional self love

My words speak with swords and other sharp weapons
they stab & sting & leave you breathless
my soul explored; painted in pain
what happens when you're born in vain
But daggers did no good
They left me (broken )frozen, used
yet resurrected as He knew It would
But today I show my soul freely 'cuz
 Ive grown into a woman
So, I'll share my womanhood
Trials and tribulations & it's all for the good
Sharing with you strength & mistakes
Plans I've made, ships I've sank

And with nothing to lose
I weigh my pain, as weightless
put it together straightforward
Cuz I dealt with it
gave myself a new view
like a facelift
breaking barriers within my mind
They always said "you could do it if you tried"
But sometimes you need a bottom so you can climb
Steep falls lead to long walks
left me feeling accomplished when I reached the top
Yet still finding the way
The battle is real, haphazards as lessons feel like set backs &
go on day to day
But in life light is darkness, darkness light
you succumb or you shine bright
