Fading
Are we lost within
the grave yards
of pious broken thoughts
where our past memories
of our intent
still weakly crawl
between the light of the moon
and the head stones of regret
as like slowly fading ghosts
we forget
the task we were given
when we brought life
into this World
the task of building
a road
where our Children
can proudly boast
they gave their blood sweat
and tears
for us
yet like slowly fading
crippled ghosts
we still haunt
the grave yards
of broken thoughts
where we cry
behind the masks we wear
while smileing
at a reflection
of a fading ghost
WHO cares
the grave yards
of pious broken thoughts
where our past memories
of our intent
still weakly crawl
between the light of the moon
and the head stones of regret
as like slowly fading ghosts
we forget
the task we were given
when we brought life
into this World
the task of building
a road
where our Children
can proudly boast
they gave their blood sweat
and tears
for us
yet like slowly fading
crippled ghosts
we still haunt
the grave yards
of broken thoughts
where we cry
behind the masks we wear
while smileing
at a reflection
of a fading ghost
WHO cares
