Tattered
tattered soul
ripped and imbued
battered in a battle
because I will not be
sheep
sound asleep
drove like cattle
as the Shepard speaks
tattered soul
different and unique
indestructible
like the blades of grass
at your feet
tattered still
courageous and bold
who sparks
shine gold
and known
by the ancients
elders of the old
tattered and yet
my heart will not turn cold
laughter
because
I broke the hold of the whole
I spoke in tones as if it is
I am
the throne
I am that
hones
a soul spiritually
nurtured and grown
