This reminds me of when my father died, he was only 59.
I asked him to cut my hair, close to the scalp. He obliged, it made him happy, but he couldn't go on, he was too weak. I cut off all my hair for him. His death gave me life.

amazing stuff...dying parents
sittin wit Pops all those months, him being only 22yrs older'n me, was quite the experience. Many of the healthcare people we had to visit frequently thought his 'brother' had moved in to take care of him.
really put further emphasis on the mortality-mind that I'd found myself in after my miracle recovery & the sudden insane disappearance of the love that had 'saved' me....irony so comically cruel
