If that's an E.R. Braithwaite reference, I'm afraid it's lost on me, my lit professor preferred E.E Cummings, Lewis and Dostoyevsky.
The 'coz' in your third stanza strikes out, you're speaking from the perspective of a poet, an artist of words - they wouldn't contract, certainly not with a colloquial term. 'cause, perhaps if you're forcing a syllabic count, but it seems free verse.
The ending was quite nice though, I just didn't feel this piece as much as I should - a few minor things confuse it, throw the pacing or the voice off a little.
