The Light

She sees him in the dead of night
Her lover, her soulmate
Struck dead from the light
She cries and she weeps
But he'll never come back
He is gone he is air
From this heartless act,
She walks alone
Cold and hardened
She wants relief
To have a place called home,
It's not home without him
But he is gone he is air
Her lover, her soulmate
Struck dead from the light,
So she decides over time
That she can't stand this fight ,
She says goodbye to the world
Says goodbye to the light,
She screams to the world
She pulls the trigger tight
Then she plunges herself
Straight into the night
She's with him now
She has a happier life
She left our world
And went into the light
