To Be In

We spruce up to the nines
make sure we are in a presentable way
try to recall those tiny things
that draw the interest of the intended
and what is it all for
we long to be in

Get that paycheck
spend it on food, clothes, candles, and entertainment
if more serious that diamond ring
maybe an anklet with diamonds
wanting to make that positive impression
and what is it all for
us guys long to be in

If we are smart once we succeed
our tom catting days are extinguished or at least lessened
see if you got it good at home
what is the point in going out to bone
especially if you get caught
no rage as intense as a slighted lover
all of it will be for naught
may never be in again

So I say if I get in you
hang on for many trips
front and back and any way you please
nothing like ending the day with
that surge of energy pulsing to white splurge
crest and the fall with that big sigh
all us fellas
just long to be in
