scourged sand dunes

 she has always loved me
but an elusive cowardice
loosens what's held of that place

and i will fall through
appointing responsibility to clenched fists
aimed to pound out the winds
that are always angry

she is not like life
realizing romance in want
she demands answers
which could never be met

again she asks on these winds
that are always angry
to erode the formed
even when erected for her

i have always loved her
but confuse the tenacity
in consistently starting over
for an anwer
that would satisfy the wind
away from the always of her anger
