Love of a Bee

She's a lone rose that stands tall within the jungle
She faces the brunt of the full force of mother nature
While battling the pain of being alone

All the other bees tried but never had any intention of gettin the pollen
They all stopped climbing when they realized she had sharp thorns

I was a bee who saw her beauty from afar
But that's not jus where I wanted to stop
So I landed at the bottom of her stem and begun my ascend up her stem

Feeling the pain of her loneliness and the sheer force of mother nature on her
The climb became tough
With not one single flower around her
She sang her songs alone and her voice echo'd through the walls of my soul
and I pushed through the troubles

Focusing on the problems from the outside made me a little blind bee
For during my climb her thorn pierced right through my heart
And the pain became unbearable
My soul wavered and my wings seized to buzz

But I remembered how her songs became my heartbeat
And I felt all her pain and everything she has to endure
Somedays I heard the break in her voice when she used to sing
Because she was fighting her tears

So I took it all with me
Snapped that thorn off and carried it with me
My destination blurry, lookin at it with rainy eyes
But I take it all because she is special

I continued my climb as determined as ever
My wings failed, my eyes a waterfall and my heart broken
I move up her stem, thorns and all, with sheer strength and love
Protecting her from all other elements
And taking all the pain she gives me and finally I made it

Her petals soft, beautiful and moist
As the tears from her pain became a storm
It Tore off some petals and drenched all her pollen and petals
But the rose always smells more fragrant,
Looks more beautiful
And feels more softer after the storm

And now rolling around in her pollen
(Her love, her trust, her pain, her tears, her laughter, her happiness)
Feels like heaven
And she is now no more alone
What more could this bee ask for?

I am now the song she sings
And the reason she smiles
And I don't want any other bee to take my place
We all have to go through our battles for that one person we love
