Last Good Bye

On the surface she glistens brightly sweetest lined prism

Impossibly soft

Impossibly lost

She always appeared to me as a pure sprite of nature
Imagining her to bend the redwood trees to the whim of her sculpting

Loving her very deeply

I thought the trouble free appearance to be her way
My senses misconceived seeing this dark angel only in fairest sun light
She moves as a ghost, blue orchid eyes weeping every night

Having only seen the veil, the book's miss-leading cover

Her apparent innocence only a sliver of her being with a dark side powerfully lurking behind the facade

As black as the night is long expanding out into a starless universe

How could the one who so redefined the definition of the finest aspects of existence for me be insecure?

Her beauty

My god....

Her beauty

It is the answer to the question asked by my eyes

To me she is the most exceptional dove that has ever spread her wings in these heavens

How in all my incarnations could i be so fortunate as to meet her

Her kiss, so divine it can stifle a poet's prose leaving me incapable to convey the pleasure of her lips

She had told me another girl had taught her the patient lingering of it's indulgence

The last few drops of water in my canister used trying to wash my eyes of her allure

As I face the boundless desert that is the rest of my life without her
