Falling Apart
His cries of help fell on deaf ears
Hopelessly abandoned by all of his peers
He stood as a statue, drenched in his fears
Watching the vermin below crauuuul like insects
Quaintly and curiously he stood
Looking out from under his hood
For he knew there was no one who could
Distract him from his miserable defects
Too empty, too ugly, too shrivelled and scarred
Too glum, too dark, too depressingly marred
He felt the cool warmth of love's hand on his side
But he was determined to make death his widowed bride
Releasing his grip, he had only one emotion inside
