It's just a Dream, Steven, soon you will wake,
so Dream unbelievably until you reach the gate.
Dream of a place where we just might belong,
Someplace far away that wont chime lonesome songs.
It's just a Dream, Steven, and soon you will sleep,
Soon it will end, dear Friend, please do not weep.
It's all that you are, it's all that we are,
Billions of Dreams made of dust in the Stars.
Don't hang your head now, the next sequence comes,
If we're lucky our next Dream could be the one.

For now just let go and dance beneath the Moon.
Another Dream comes, as sure as this one goes,
If we'll ever wake up, we just do not know.
We just find ourselves in some other Dream,
But we'll never know that, we forget everything.
I wonder if we're Dreaming or part of someones Dream,
Subjects of one state of mind that's blind to what it's seeing.

Try to wake up or much deeper you'll fall.
Follow my voice if you hear me in there,
Don't let yourself get caught up in a snare.
Run from the Voice telling you it's a Dream,
Run from yourself, just run from everything.
Nothing can be trusted to tell you the truth,
The Voices just want you stuck here inside you.
Nothing is real, but it's also not fake,
You're Dreaming a Dream, but you're also awake.
Are we awake, Steven? Just give me a sign,
I'm starting to wonder if we're out of our mind.
Or maybe we're in it, that's why we cant tell,
Maybe we're Dead, and this is our Hell?
