Lose Your Self, Stealing Her Heart
Can you feel her body shudder?
The trembled murmur in her chest?
Can you taste the trepidation, Her sweat,
Beading down her breast,
Rising and falling
Hear her Gasping for breath.
Did you know this all along?
Could you feel where you went wrong?
Did you watch your back?
Can you see?
You stole her heart.
She locked up your soul
And threw away the key
Is this what makes you feel alive?
This can you survive..
ARE YOU ALIVE!
Take a breath.
Your last
As she pulls you in;
Close the deal,
Take your blood-soaked kiss.
She plays a deeper game,
She breaks you from within.
Lights fail and darkness pulls
The heat grows,
Your bodies show;
Tonight’s your chance
To ignore the truth.
Break away your chains
Love and love your youth.
Who needs their soul?
Do you still have a heart dear?
You can’t feel it beating.
I knew you’d leave her here
Dead, dying, breathing.
The trembled murmur in her chest?
Can you taste the trepidation, Her sweat,
Beading down her breast,
Rising and falling
Hear her Gasping for breath.
Did you know this all along?
Could you feel where you went wrong?
Did you watch your back?
Can you see?
You stole her heart.
She locked up your soul
And threw away the key
Is this what makes you feel alive?
This can you survive..
