  I've not been duped by this world
It may have knocked me down a
time or two but its not colored me

In all honesty, it has opened my
eyes and at times although I feel
dismayed, overall I'm doing fine

So no matter how far down I go,
out of the ashes I will rise
And like the Phoenix, once again...

I'll fly

burns and does not die, is
purified and regenerates from
