Rant poem.
Life is but an empty void
A void that can only be filled with broken promises
And petty compliments that drive us to believe
That we can be anything we want to be. If chosen correctly.
We all know that's not true, nonetheless impossible.
A society that conforms us to needlessly question every action or move we make.
Whether physical or mental, to abuse our well-being minds
And stab the dreams we set upon the horizon
Because there's no such thing as a future,
When we dream and persevere towards it
Our ears are flowing over with words of hate
And "you can't do it"
How can you expect a young seed, vulnerable to this world, to grow
If you show him nothing but darkness.
Light, an object our future lacks.
You have no one else left to blame but your chains.
