Against the Grain
Mist rising up, a dawn chorus of gathering light shafts
breaking on our accompanying atmospheric charged
wilderness, senses now heightened in the whispering
reed against the grain, pushing over harvest hills after
the storm, temperate affection of heaven and earth in
breathless beautiful silence, you return once more.
