Shadow Man
Looking out the window at the darkness
starring through a leafless tree I hear a
sound from a distance that startles me
The room grows cold and so do I this must be that guy
The one my sister said she saw in the attic with no eyes
We was kids but who was I to not believe her and say it's a lie
The night passes on from dusk to dawn I keep watch
thinking he will do no harm but to my disbelief this man grabs ahold of me
I can't fight I can't scream I just tell myself this is a dream
All the sudden with a whack I turn around there's my sister with
a knife she threw it and ended his life no more worry's no more strain that
goddamn man really was a pain now we are much older and very much
wiser it's glad to say the man was nothing more then a shadow playing tricks on us
