Hush.

"Hush. Please, hush." Echoing the walls of my womb,
the vibrations that go right through me.
Return my child.
Come back, my mouldy, four-year-old fetus.
I'll trap you back inside.
Grow.
I will feed you placenta.
I won't drink and
I won't smoke.
The care will be out there now.
Come home, James.
I can't report you missing.
"Hey, you, please look for my unborn child...in the sewers where he was flushed."
Do it quietly
my guilt will eat you whole,
if it hears you.
