"Understanding through God's Wisdom; that's taught of the Spirit."
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
I have come to the realization, (with the help of
the Lord; and through a lot of self-inflicted
hardship), that if I allow a problem that I have
with someone or an issue that I have with
something, (which most of the time can't be
changed anyways), progress within me to the
point of bitterness, then I have entertained and
obsessed on it for to long until it becomes a
power within me that I cannot control.
And I then become the one full of hatred and
mental torment.
Which leads to a downward spiral of emotions
that are detrimental to my soul and usually
lead me out of the Good Will of the Lord.
Proverbs 18:1 tells us,
"Through desire, a man having separated
himself, seeks and intermeddles with all
wisdom."
What this Scripture is saying is that a man's
desires separate him from the Spirit of God
and when they do, it leads him into a state
of mind where he seeks, (searches after
diligently; most of the time not good), for all
wisdom and involves himself in it typically
in an unclean way
Man in his present fallen condition operates
in the mindset of intellect and rationality
which to a degree is good but can become a
very difficult opponent to him
He reasons God and the Spirit out of his life
and begins to walk in his own hurtful desires
when we should be walking in the Spirit and
allowing it's desire to guide us and it's
Wisdom to Instruct us...
