A Second Chance

   How do you tell the one's you love goodbye? How do you stay when it hurts your very being? Do you look them in the eyes and say its okay, I know you did your very best? What do you do when your just sad? Not able to keep up the act anymore....For so long you've felt insecure, thinking that no one truely liked you. That they only put up with you out of pity. That the very words you speak sound hollow even in your own ears...Knowing you could keep the act going to keep fooling people, just not yourself anymore. You want to feel whole again, even if its just for a moment. Now you've made your choice taking a bottle of pills and taking the blade to your wrist. As you lay their your heart beat slowly getting faint, and you can't lift your head from the floor. You think so this is what its come down to. Leaving. Saying goodbye to the very few things that where able to bring you joy in this cruel world. Your barely able to keep your eyes open now, and you start to think maybe this way was a mistake. That even maybe just maybe someone out their did care....Your mind is becoming foggy. You close your eyes and think "too late", and fall into black nothing....You awake to a bright light wondering what happened, if you dead. When you open your eyes the ones you thought didn't care where by your side in tears. In that moment you realize that you are loved, and where given a second chance............
