Mixed Blood
True bloods cannot care for the mixed of us
those who have only one bloodline
cannot comprehend the pain the half blood feels
for cultures based on blood, do not care for mixtures
half bloods meet half bloods and quarter bloods are born
culture barriers break down to nothing and a new generation is born
racism should be a thing of the past but it still alive today
so much hatred based on the color of your skin
people judge and only care what their eyes see
they don't see the mixtures only the pedigree
while blood becomes more diluted day after day
some cultures persist to persecute those who are born this way
they care not for the mixed blood children and throw them out
without a history or cultural past, the children of half bloods
rarely, if any ever do, their life does last
death comes early to the wanderers born from this color biased world
you can't just hate someone for their personality it always has to due with the color of their skin

Culture is a set of traps, accommodations an individual makes in order to appease and empower an institution. Whether an institution of family, country, company, the behavioral changes aren't the trap. The mental gymnastics a person has to do in order to form the statement "I perform this action because I was born a _________ ." It's such a load of shit-pie, because if that same person had zero concept of their culture they'd never have to take much beyond the golden rule into their moral matrix.

Sore lacking, but the entertainment industry has us glossy-eyed and hypnotized on how achieve status.

People like to pigeonhole. Hence the line "You can't capture me until you catch up with me." If a person cannot define where your lines are, they don't know your weaknesses. They can't contain you in their module they envisioned, of what role you define in their life. It takes courage to look at people as individuals and say "Yeah, this person fills a million roles, far past whatever they are to me."
Knowing what high school a person went to, what their ancestors believed in, what group they belong to is a really convenient way for cowards to make declarative statements without doing the knowledge.
But self-hood you hold inside, so fuck what those ignoramuses declare from cultural confusion, from being overloaded by a mixed gypsy girl who's done the rollercoaster, stared herself back and re-configured the pieces. Those are the same fuckers who'd get the shivers being the same room as Harley Quinn, instead of fascinated. Let ém be confused about where you're from. It's not where you're from anyways, it's where you're at now.
