When I Die
Respect me now while I can still see you,
Dont come brave to my grave and say you wanna pay your last respect,
If you have it now, why would it fade when I'm dead?
Are you gonna forget everything I did?
Are you gonna make that brick ontop of my grave be a wall of division between the world and what I've done great?
You remember how I treated you,
So when I die, let my death be a part of you.
When I die, ama die not knowing what killed me,
Only you will know,
If I do drugs and never get busted then I end up dying in a bathtub,
Dont come to my funeral with a straight face like I was a bustard,
Coz you know the shit I did apart from bullshitting was real shit.
When my time is up, dont forget the time I had for you,
The time I took out of my life to make you feel loved and supported
Coz thats where my time was spent,
And you know once it whines, it never rewinds,
And for that matter remember that my time is up probably because I didnt have enough people spending theirs on me,
So when I die, remain knowing that I added a few hours of happiness in your life.
When I die, walk up to my coffin and scream "he's alive" just to prank people,
I enjoyed making jokes at serious occasions,
Eat as much as you can at my funeral,
I enjoyed eating more than feeding,
I enjoyed singing more than preaching,
I enjoyed talking more than listening,
And most of all I enjoyed living than breathing,
So when I die, bury me alive and remember that my death was an edit to your breath.
When I die, make use of anything I left you,
All the things I did and said,
I did them to put a smile on your face,
Peace in your heart and joy in your soul,
So when I die,
stay alive knowing that somewhere in life I've pleased you,
And I will die knowing that I've told you how to react towards my death,
I'd be pleased too if you do like I asked you to.
Dont come brave to my grave and say you wanna pay your last respect,
If you have it now, why would it fade when I'm dead?
Are you gonna forget everything I did?
Are you gonna make that brick ontop of my grave be a wall of division between the world and what I've done great?
